Crystal Sword Games hosts inclusive tabletop gaming events in New York City. Our goal is to provide safe, fun, and high-quality tabletop experiences and related workshops / events to build community, spread joy, and share the hobby with new folks.
We believe a good game starts with taking care of one another. Our games always use safety tools to identify content lines for each member at the table, and all game content can be modified to respect the table’s collective boundaries.
As a queer and woman-owned business, games where our communities are safe is our #1 goal. All are welcome at Crystal Sword Games, and harmful behavior or language motivated by intolerance of identity, affinity, or lived experience is never allowed, both in game and above the table. Be kind to one another! Trust us, it’s fun!

Our Game Masters are carefully vetted, experienced facilitators who know just the right formula for crafting and presenting an unforgettable adventure, whether it’s a fast and fun bar one-shot or an epic campaign that unfolds over many sessions. We provide everything you need: character sheets, maps, minis, dice, and plenty of opportunities for adventure!
Whether you’re brand-new to tabletop gaming or an old salt who remembers THAC0, you’ll have a great time, create an awesome story, and meet fun new people who share a love of whimsy and collaboration, and gaming.
TTRPGs help us practice listening, collaborating, and communicating, and the game table is a place where we have fun, build community and work together. Meeting new people and gaining new perspectives while pretending to be a wizard for a little while? We think that’s pretty neat.
We bring this spirit to our games, and our operations. We offer several community seats for players who need a break on the ticket price. We periodically raise funds for causes and organizations that strengthen our community. We want to create a space where you can make some friends, take a break, and have a good time!

Community means inviting everyone to the table. Games are for everyone, regardless of circumstance of financial ability.
If you are interested in one of our games, but can’t pay the ticket price for any reason, enter our Community Seat Lottery! We offer at least one community seat to each of our gaming events (sometimes more!) We’ll randomly draw from the pool and reach out to you via email if you’re selected!
Our Community Seat program is funded by our fundraisers and community donations. If you would like to help us continue the program, select the community seat option when you purchase your own ticket or make a direct contribution. Funds raised help us pay our GMs their full fee, regardless of number of community seats offered!
